Please note the solenoid valves this timer will operate require 9 volt DC latching solenoid coils; most irrigation solenoid valves come standard with 24vac coils. We suggest you purchase Rainbird solenoid valves from Rigby Taylor Ltd. with 9 volt DC latching coils already installed. Alternatively you can replace a Rainbird 24vac coil with a 9VDC latching coil on any existing Rainbird solenoid valve.
