Ongar Loam™ is our premium test and county quality cricket loam, ideal for both construction and top dressing. Screened to 4mm, this heavy clay loam, when rolled under the correct soil moisture conditions, provides a hard wicket with consistent pace and bounce. Its natural fertility also promotes healthy grass growth. Ongar Loam™ has been utilised to construct test wickets at prestigious grounds such as The Oval, Lords, Edgbaston, Trent Bridge, the Rose Bowl, Cardiff, and Headingley. It has also been used internationally, constructing pitches in Dubai, the Bahamas, Denmark, and Holland.
