Description
One of the largest variables when using a knapsack sprayer is water pressure, in an average knapsack pressure varies from 0.5 Bar to 4 Bar depending on the enthusiasm of the operator. The volume of spray applied by nozzles is directly related to water pressure (see nozzle calibration charts) .
Pressure can easily be controlled using a regulator – The RT Evolution sprayer come with a 1 Bar regulator fitted to the lance. These regulators will not allow spray to pass below 1 Bar and will then keep the output pressure to 1 Bar making sure the nozzle is delivering the same volume all the time independent of the pressure of the knapsack
All RT Evolution knapsacks are supplied with a specially selected range of nozzles a suit specific application situations
The anvil nozzles have swath widths of 50cm, 1m and 2m for application in linear areas e.g Fence lines, carparks etc. These are designed for the application of product such as Chikara, Hi-Aktiv, Trustee, Biograde or Biograde Home & Garden . The Anvil nozzles are also ideal for the application of selective herbicides on turf and lawns. The full cone nozzle is for application around objects such as street furniture, trees. The flat fan nozzle is designed for the application of Enclean Biocide .
Using the RT Evolution knapsacks is made even easier because with this spraying system we know the pressure, flow rates and areas sprayed by the nozzle we can provide operators with a table specify the amount of product to add per litre of water in the sprayer – click here for Rt Evolution Application Guide for a range of products
