Description

Agricultural grass seed mixtures designed for cattle grazing are rich in protein and sugars. Horses and ponies however, require grass which is high in fibre, with low sugar (fructan) levels. Using a blend of low sugar diploid ryegrasses with Timothy and strong creeping red fescue, without clover or other legumes to avoid laminitis, will produce an easily digestible paddock sward.
