The Rainfall Gauge is designed for use in central control systems. It will catch rain and send reports back to the control system which can then be used to adjust the amount of irrigation being applied in real-time (this means that it adjusts the run-time of stations immediately; not sometime later or for the next irrigation cycle as some other brands do).
This product is also known as a “Rain Can” by contractors.
If you have a decoder system you’ll need a sensor decoder to operate it.
If you have a rain Bird IC system you’ll need an IC-IN sensor module. This allows the information to be sent to the control system.
