Imperial PVC pipe is the old solid rigid pipe that many golf courses still have in the irrigation systems.
It was installed into golf courses before PE pipe became available, and many courses still have it. You’ll know if you have it; it tends to shatter easily when it’s old, and will often leak at the glued joints.
We strongly suggest you change to PE (polyethylene) pipe if at all possible, but you might need some PVC pipe to repair breaks, etc.
