Garden tap pressure tester for measuring garden tap pressures & flow rates for landscape irrigation. Note: this will arrive unassembled. Includes the fitting to screw onto a standard brass garden tap, pressure gauge, and gate valve.
Turn the garden tap on fully. Adjust the gate valve to reach the required pressure on the gauge (3 bar for pop-up lawn sprinklers; 2 bar for dripline only). Then place a 10 litre bucket under the system & measure how long it takes to fill the bucket.
This testing device saves guessing, and can warn you of flow rates that are too low.
To determine your flow rate; divide the 10 litres (or whatever your bucket volume is) by the seconds and then multiply by 60 to get your litres per minute (eg. 10/17 x 60 = 35.3 litres per second flow rate).
